The Baptism of Christ icon formerly displayed at Our Lady of Dolours RC Church Fulham is now installed in the Anglican parish of St John’s Fulham Broadway, for a six months tenure. The installment has been generously funded by Chelsea Funeral Directors.

“The spirit hovers over the waters at the dawn of creation when the earth is empty and formless;
the spirit hovers over the flood waters announcing the end of the ordeal and the return to peace;
the spirit hovers over Christ entering the Jordan;
through the activity of the spirit the waters cease to be an image of death but announce a birth to new life”.
The closing event introduced by Fr Chris O’Brien OSM included Mike talking about his icon of the Supper at Emmaus and poems by Sara de Nordwall.
The Supper at Emmaus icon purchased 2017. A gift for St Charles Borromeo RC Church, London. The icon is installed close to the Blessed Sacrament chapel.
